Our big-screen movies are shown in the most technically advanced dome theater in the world. Within our walls you can travel from the Grand Canyon to Mars to the inside of an atom, all in a day.

But the Science Museum is more than the sum of its displays, programs, and films. We’re a picture window that illuminates the entire body of scientific knowledge. Like a website home page, we’re not an end but a beginning. What visitors see here will excite their curiosity and stimulate their minds. The lives and works of Sir Isaac Newton, Copernicus, Marie Curie, Louis Pasteur, Archimedes, Max Planck, Lavoisier and others like them -- people whose brilliance shape our world even today -- are waiting to be discovered, and a trip to the Science Museum is certain to jumpstart that journey....
