About Me
.jpg)
I'm a master's-prepared writer with an eclectic background in corporate communications. I finished my fulltime employment as vice president of marketing for a $3 billion division of a Fortune 75 company. In that role, my responsibilities ran the gamut from advertising and digital marketing to public and media relations and issues management, among other disciplines. I was chief media strategist and spokesman for my organization and led several high-profile crisis communications campaigns during my career.
While comfortable writing on nearly any topic, I'm especially proficient in health care. My writing catalog is extensive and diverse. It includes college commencement speeches, conference keynote remarks, blog posts, magazine articles, newspaper op-eds, brochure and ad copy, media talking points, and other pieces intended for either the eye or the ear.
I believe good writing is inspired in two ways: by finding a consistent voice and by self-editing without mercy. Whenever I write, I strive to do both.
